Kimberly and Jarod thoroughly enjoyed their elegant church wedding and reception at The View on the Hudson. Their family and friends helped them make the best day, and everyone was all smiles.
The last time I had seen Kimberly and Jarod was for their Engagement Session at the Bear Mountain Inn, in the freezing cold of winter. We had come a long way from then, with the perfect warm weather of early September, as they prepared for their wedding day. Timing was perfectly executed, and everyone was ready and waiting at the church for their interfaith ceremony. Father Byrnes and Rabbi Mallon were the nicest, and they seemlessly wove the ceremony with both the Jewish and Catholic traditions so nothing was missed.
The reception was packed with delicious food and amazing entertainment, with a packed dance floor and happy guests. Kimberly and Jarod probably wished the day wouldn’t end, but it will be memorable by most for year to come.
The rings were so beautiful in this keepsake dish, such a simple detail.
I loved that Kimberly’s dress was waiting on a dress form in her mom’s bedroom. A nice display of the dress is a wonderful touch.
Kimberly and Jarod did all they could to keep emotions at bay while they read their exchanged cards. I love this tradition, and we’re seeing it very frequently this past year. Reliving and hearing those special words in their film is priceless.
Kimberly was so elegant and unmistakably glowing with joy before she left for the ceremony.
Jarod was excited for everything to be just perfect as he prepared to marry his bride. Classic black and white always works.
The Ketubah signing was done and everything was ready to go. They had an amazingly symbolic interfaith Jewish and Catholic ceremony.
Relief and apprehension over their grand exit on the faces of Kimberly and Jarod as they made their way down the aisle is captured forever.
Portraits at The View on the Hudson are spectacular as you overlook the might Hudson River. The Tappan Zee Bridge (and the construction cranes) mark the location nicely.
The ballroom at The View on the Hudson is very grand, especially with the beautiful chandeliers. Kimberly and Jarod thoroughly enjoyed their First Dance, as if no one else was in the room.
It was the most perfect weather, with the setting sun giving us a soft glow on the happy couple.
